Lirogon began as four separate pursuits: mechanical resonance, electrostatic sound, music production and industrial design. In 2021, they became one project.
01 · THE BEGINNING
An engineer fascinated by mechanical resonance. An audio explorer who could not forget the sound of electrostatics. A music producer searching for truth in reproduction. And a designer able to turn acoustic architecture into a coherent object.
Tomasz Cygler and Maciej “Camey” Sierakowski met Wojciech Garus almost by accident, through an online auction. Their shared search became the foundation of Lirogon, giving the project the engineering discipline and manufacturing capability required to move from experiment to finished acoustic instrument. Jacek Gburczyk completed the group, connecting the acoustic and mechanical idea with industrial design and a coherent visual language. Work on Origin began in 2021.
02 · THE PEOPLE BEHIND ORIGIN
Fascinated by mechanical resonance, Wojciech created the first membrane-tensioning machine and prototype diaphragms. His engineering work at GG Tech provided the early project with the precision manufacturing base from which Origin could be developed.
Years spent dismantling, restoring and listening to audio equipment led Tomasz to electrostatic transducers. The sound of the Koss Model One became a reference he could not forget.
A music producer, record-label owner and studio practitioner, Maciej brought the perspective of the recording itself: timbre, dynamics and the ability of a system to preserve the intent of a performance.
An industrial and brand designer, Jacek translated Origin’s acoustic and mechanical architecture into one coherent physical form — and gave the project its visual language.
03 · THE JOURNEY
Four perspectives become one project. Membrane geometries, mechanical structures and acoustic concepts are developed through repeated prototyping and listening.
The first Polish full-range electrostatic loudspeaker is presented publicly at Audio Video Show.
Origin receives its first complete independent review and makes its international appearance at HIGH END Vienna.
